The Zoom Super Fluke Jr. played a part in Kevin Hawk’s win at the recent Forrest Wood Cup. Hawk paired a white Super Fluke Jr. with a Sworming Hornet Fish Head Spin.
Hawk used the combination primarily as a search tool, trying to locate and target active fish. He would cast toward specific brush or submerged brush piles and would count the lure down to a desired depth.
A nice slow retrieve over the tops of these brush piles proved to be the most effective. All of the fish that Hawk weighed-in on the final day came on this Fish Head Spin with the Super Fluke Jr. trailer.
